Stomp Stoppers is a small family business that specializes in making fly wraps for your horses, mules, and donkeys of all sizes. Our fly wraps protect your horse's legs from biting flies and insects. They also help reduce stomping, which can cause loose and lost shoes, as well as leg injury. With quality at the forefront of our business for over 20 years, each wrap is carefully and intentionally crafted by founder Gladys Collins, and her family right here in the USA.

About our Product

Stomp Stoppers are made of a pliable vinyl mesh with a black binding allowing for breathability and ease of cleaning. Two plastic supports are sewn in vertically to each wrap which prevent sagging and also help form the wrap to sit comfortably on your horses legs. Finally, our wraps have a top to bottom vertical strip of industrial strength hook and loop to allow for a strong hold while on your horse, mule, or donkey.

How Should Stomp Stoppers Fit My Horse?

  • Step 1: USA Tab is on Top

    Each wrap has been labeled (L & R fronts, and L & R backs) and should be put on your horse with the USA tab on the top and outside of the wrap.

  • Step 2: Firmly Fasten Wraps

    Our wraps use a full top to bottom strip of industrial strength hook and loop (velcro). We recommend firmly applying the hook and loop to itself along the outer legs of your horse to ensure a strong, lasting hold.

  • Step 3: Check Fit

    All wraps should fit comfortably around your horses legs (not too tight, not too loose). Our wraps should sit on, or right above the coronary band and not slip below the hoof. The height of the wraps should not go above the knee joint in the front or the hock in the back.
